Several members of the Lane Lab, along with many students and faculty from the Marion Murray Spinal Cord Research Center, attended the 18th International Symposium on Neural Regeneration at Asilomar Lodge in Pacific Grove, California. The meeting was not only well attended, it was said to be one of the best of its kind in many years. The meeting began with a session dedicated to Marion Murray - co-founder of the Spinal Cord Research Center at Drexel, long time spinal cord injury researcher, and incredible friend and mentor to so many. Dr. Lane also chaired a session on spinal interneurons - a topic that is rapidly becoming of interest to the field of SCI researchers and the subject of a book to be released by Elsevier in the coming year.
